CAPNI Region 5

Preceptors and Students, Unite! :)

Posted about 7 years ago by Alyssa Cripe

Let’s get together to match up CAPNI students and CAPNI preceptors! There is a preceptor directory on the main CAPNI page, but it does not narrow the list to region 5 and it does not specify if they already have a student. We all remember that finding a preceptor was one of the most challenging parts of our education. Let’s take care of our own!

Please comment below if you are a student looking or preceptor available. Please include your location and contact information. Preceptors, please include your specialty. Thank you for helping make region five the place to be! :)

Hi! In the Spring I need 168 hours in women's health (it can be family practice with a little women's component as well). I live in South Bend but can drive up to an hour!

Hello! I am looking for 1-2 preceptors in the Spring! I will be in my final semester of FNP school and need 174 hours in family practice or internal medicine and, if possible, 48 hours of any specialty! I live in South Bend but am willing to commute up to 1 hour away if necessary. My email is jmbeam88@gmail.com and I can be reached by phone or text at 260-431-4985. Thanks so much for considering - I understand that taking a student can be a burden but I will try my best to be helpful and not slow you down!

Hello! I am an FNP student with Indiana State University and am only looking for 45 hours for the Spring semester. They prefer a family practice office, but I can discuss with my dean for any other specialty or urgent care areas. I am able to travel almost anywhere in Northern Indiana. My email is ruthjEDRN@gmail.com or phone number is 574.850.9181. Thank you for your consideration.

I’m looking for a preceptor for peds for this fall. It’s 96 patients/hours. I have a preceptor for aging adult but the 96 peds patients is making me nervous. Looking in the Goshen/Elkhart area but I’m willing to drive anywhere necessary. ssteinbacher1@gmail.com
Thank you!
